KISS-Branded HDTVs Ready for Crazy Crazy Nights

By: Mark Hachman

God may have given you rock and roll, but only Roundtable Concepts has said it will deliver the first KISS-branded TVs.

The LED HDTVs will ship in four sizes ranging from 55 inches to 32 inches. Roundtable is also offering a deal - if a customer buys one of the 55-inch LCD TVs for the retail price of $1,988.88, Roundtable will throw in a 32-inch LCD TV for free.

Roundtable said that only 15,000 of the new TVs will be made. Each will come with a special "diamond finish," includes the official KISS logo, and splash an image of the band on the screen during the eight seconds or so the TV requires to fully power on.

To the Band Members of KISS:

It was by chance that I was in attendance at last night's KISS concert in San Antonio. A relative had tickets & asked me to come along at the last minute - literally! I was feeling really down & didn't want to go because my husband is deployed to Iraq (yes, he is one of the Soldiers that remains after the drawdown) & we are approaching the halfway mark of the deployment....I don't like doing things like this without him, particularly when he is sacrificing his freedom so that I can have mine. I was so moved when you did the tribute to the troops. When Paul Stanley said that the troops may not hear the message that America thanks them & had the crowd pledge allegiance to the flag, I cried. I want KISS to know that the troops in Iraq DID hear your message because I passed it along to my husband when I spoke to him today & asked to to share it with everyone he works with. He said that it is great to know that at least KISS didn't forget about them, when it seemingly appears everyone else has. Thank you for your continued support of our US Armed Forces! Hooah!

AT LAWYERS' CONFERENCE
KISS IS EVERYWHERE!

Many attendees at the Section of Dispute Resolution Conference in Atlanta had to look twice when they saw rock stars from the band KISS roaming the halls. It turned out to be Section members and conference faculty Lee Jay Berman, Jeff Kichaven, and Michelle Obradovic. Why would three self-respecting mediation professionals dress up as members of the rock band KISS? -- To make a serious point; help attendees think outside of the box, and give the message more staying power: Hundreds of mediators leave the practice every year because they fail to understand the realities of the commercial marketplace.

ROCKS EPICENTER
Written by Melissa Garcia

As for KISS, they put any other rock band to shame with their ridiculously entertaining set. The set was packed tight with their hits "Detroit Rock City," and of course "Rock n' Roll All Night," and the more melodic "Crazy Nights," to take the hard rock down to a more bubblegum rock sound. Pyrotechnics and confetti had the audience's eyes glued to the stage. While the flaming sword and fire balls and had them running for their lives.

With Stanley strumming high in the air while hooked on to a cable KISS played "I Was Made for Loving You." I would personally like to thank the camera man who put Gene Simmons tongue on the jumbo tron for all our viewing pleasure. I've seen these guys live almost 7 years ago, and they are just as vigil and energetic as they were then, they are true rock stars to the core and their age will not age any aspect of their performance, not one bit.

Cheers to you KISS and keep rocking out, because fans young and old still seek your spontaneous performances, it's a nice break from the norm. And as Stanley put it, "The music you hear is made by the four people up here, there are no phony tapes. This is rock n' roll, and we are a rock n' roll band!" Well done KISS and well said Stanley.
